Another day another trip to the hardware store to pick up hose fittings. But these should be the last of them. (Of course I’ve said that before and promptly found more hoses to work on.) Unless of course I made a mistake/count on the size/type of fittings. Again. An alien watching me the last week would think I liked (a) gardening and (b) home maintenance. What I am is too cheap to buy new hoses when the old ones still have some life in them. I’ve eked at least a year, maybe five, out of mine already and the fittings cost a tenth of a new hose. (Before you add them all up of course.) Maybe what I am is too environmentally responsible to not keep using something that can be repaired. Yeah, that sounds better.
