So, our new place happens to be directly across the road from our new polling station. The ultimate in convenience once every four years. Making use of the view from my front window I was able to wait until there was non one standing up outside the building in the line before ambling over early in the morning. (Not too early. There was a rush of eager beavers when the polls opened.) I got a bit worried for them when the rains blew through just after mid-day but it has cleared up nicely for the afternoon with a cool breeze blowing despite it being the start of summer. (Cool, as long as you’re in the shade. Which I most definitely am.)
I had a short list of productive things to do today other than just vote, but I’ve instead spent the day window-shopping computers. Silly John.
